Now it is official: The Innsbruck BeachEvent will take place in 2022 – and it will be bigger, more international and more spectacular than ever. For the first time, the event will not only be held within the win2day Beach Volleyball Tour PRO, but also as a MEVZA* tournament. This means that the fans will enjoy high-class beach volleyball with international participation.
*MEVZA = Middle European Volleyball Zonal Association
Premium location & programmE
Naturally, a tournament of this category needs a premium setting – a setting like the Marktplatz Innsbruck. Thanks to the new location, the centre court is now located in the heart of Innsbruck. Thus, the fans can enjoy the fantastic view of the Nordkette mountain range while watching the Austrian elite challenging international teams.
Everyone who has visited a beach volleyball tournament in Austria knows that entertainment and party is part of the business. Thus, each beach day at the Marktplatz Innsbruck will end with a Sundowner Party including a live DJ act. Side note: The Sundowner Parties (and to the subsequent After Parties at the Sixty Twenty) are free, but the number of people is limited.
BeachEvent Business Cup: 2 June 2022
The BeachEvent Business Cup powered by BASEFIVE on 2 June 2022 will be the kick-off to the beach volleyball weekend. At this tournament, Tyrolean companies compete against each other in teams of 3. However, the focus is not necessarily on competition, but much more on summer flair, team building and networking. Highlight: The final matches will take place at the centre court at the Marktplatz Innsbruck (from 4 p.m.).
